What is eTERRA?
eTERRA is GAIA's brand for eSPC and SPC flooring, designed to offer durability, strength, and waterproof performance while ensuring comfort and resilience.
What does the "e" in eTERRA stand for?
The "e“ in eTERRA stands for GAIA's advanced solid polymer core, and innovative engineered SPC structure enhancing waterproofing, rigidity and comfort.
What's the difference between the 6mm and 6.5mm White Series?
- Thicker core board adds more stability overall
- Improved scratch resistance performance
- Applied moisture barrier layer which increases moisture protection ( moisture barrier still required)
Is eTERRA White Series compatible with the old version?
No, due to the change in the core board thickness, eTERRA will not click with previous versions of
White Series.
Was there an issue with the old version?/Why did you make White Series thicker?
There was nothing wrong with the 6mm White Series. We found a way to enhance the product with no additional cost to our customers!
Why did the thickness change?
The thicker core board provides enhanced stability and a thicker locking system for a better overall installation.
Has the warranty changed?
No, the same great warranty remains for our product
Will the colors be the same as the old White Series?
The colors will be the same.
Is the flooring more sound resistant now?
Not necessarily, but it still carries the best in class IIC/STC sound resistance of any flooring in its category.
Is GAIA eTERRA waterproof?
Yes, this product is considered part of the waterproof flooring category. It is important to note however, that though a product may be waterproof it is important that a moisture barrier is still used for all concrete subfloor installations (see our new Vapor Barrier Underlayment - coming soon)
